Finishing the Indoor season
Published by
So are indoor season has come to a close with both our men's and women's team each taking second at our conference meet in Boise Idaho over the weekend. Our men's throws continued to step up to the plate with a lot of personal best. However, no individual titles for our guys, I do think that next year this will change. Our women throwers are really young a lot like how our men's team was two years ago, I look forward to see how they progress. We now move our way to the outdoor season just two weeks away. We will be opening up at UPS so that means that on Friday we will have to drive down in the afternoon to throw at PLU to get the hammer in. The weather here in Bellingham has been really cooperative for us during practice allowing us to throw a lot outside. So we are looking for some big opening first meet marks. Highlights from the indoor season Ben Elder breaking his own school record twice, and placing third in the shot-put at conference. Our freshmen men are going to be amazing throwers. Our ladies are young but have huge potential Tyler Fischer I know he does not throw for us and he is our major competition, but man it has been fun watching him throwing for the last four years.
